NEW YORK — The House of Reporters and Editors voted Wednesday to impeached President Donald Trump, with Democrats voting against and Republicans voting for.
The move to impeaching the president came after the House passed a resolution calling on Congress to impece him and calling for the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
The resolution is the first step toward the House impeaching Trump.
The House voted 238-193 to impease Trump, which will be the first impeachment trial in the country since 1877.
The House will begin the process of voting to impeak next week.
